Batik

I've seen a couple of very good uses
of batik fabrics lately
so I thought I had better show you
the range of batik fabric that
it in stock at the moment.

Plenty to choose from.

I would like to wish everyone a very happy
and safe new year.
If you can watch some fireworks,
a definite favourite of mine.

I'm giving myself a weekend off.
So the shop will be closed from 12 noon
on Saturday and not open again until 9 am
on Wednesday January 2nd.
See you then.

More stitching

I thought I would share a little
bit more Christmas stitching.

I'm calling them peace doves but click on
the picture for a better view, or use your
imagination and believe me.
The stand is a gift from Chris.
Many thanks
I think these will stay around longer than
Christmas.

Sparkles

Panda have a great fun new Christmas yarn.
It looks like tinsel, but is lovely and soft.
To be used for everything from gift wrapping
and decorations to knitted stockings or
dog coats and everything in between.

In a great range of colours with a project book

Week One

A new challenge has started,
seven days and seven stars.

Lets hope I keep up the pace for the
rest of the year.
I am trying to work out some kind
of routine.

Almost time

My next big project is
STAR A DAY
one 3'' lemoyne star everyday for one year.
I have a start date planned.
But I must finish the peace cranes first.

This is the fabric I have chosen for the
background of the stars, after a few
different fabrics being in the running.
I love it.
Time to wash and press it then back to work on the cranes.

Patchwork with busy fingers

Don't forget that I have a large
range of papers for
english paper piecing.
Pattern packs, glue pens,
needles and thread.

A great summer project, or Christmas
gift.
