time to work, rest, socialise and stitch.

So another weeks worth of stars,

Yes I know it's christmas, but it fits in well

Week Seven

Made it!!!

only just got my 7 stars done this week,

what a struggle.

But the dining room has been painted,

I don't want to think how many years it's taken 

to get around to doing that job.

The room looks so much bigger and brighter,

well worth the effort. Now just to move the furniture

back or maybe have a big change around.

Catch Up

 

 

week three

'Star a Day'

is done, so is week four,

but once again I,m having trouble uploading

pictures. So please take my word for it.

I,ve also sewn a few more of the red and white

churn dash blocks.

 Farmers wife, the next  big challenge,

was to be started in the new year,

not touched yet.

The book have been for a visit to

Officeworks to be spiral bound, but that

is all that has happened,

it's still the new year isn't it.

Back To Work

 

 

2012 is over and it's time to look forward

to the challenges of 2013.

They will  all be great.

 

I hope everyone had a chance to watch some

fireworks.

I watched the 9pm display from Sydney on TV,

very good but not the same as seeing the real thing.

So at midnight off we went the the live show.

Not as big [small town fireworks] but soooo

much better to be a part of, not just a spectator.

 

The challenges of 2013, well the stitchy ones.

Not quite ready to put in writing what I hope

to achieve this year. That makes it very real,

especially on the Internet for the whole world

to see and remind me of when I get off track.

 

these blocks might get put together

 

 maybe  finish this poor neglected quilt,

OK so that two thing that I can't go back on,

but I do have a year to do them and maybe more?
